New York Fashion Week started on Thursday with a bang… and a blizzard. Looking chic in a full-on snow storm is only slightly less difficult than playing Liszt’s Feux Follets on the piano. Damn near impossible. I opted for practical block heel boots (love these ones), cozy joggers with knit detailing that kept my ankles warm (plus Under Armour underneath, duh), and this glorious gray coat with the warmest fur-trimmed hood. In all honesty, this Wisconsin girl loved the excuse to bundle up and trek through the snow. It made for an exciting first day of shows (minus all the poor Cali girls wiping out in bare legs and stilettos #DedicatedFashionistas) and a beautiful winter day in New York City.
