Picking up on a couple of my very favorite fall trends, I wore this bell-sleeved off-the-shoulder top and mini skirt on the last day of New York Fashion Week. While there’s a high trend factor with this look (as is often the case with fashion week street style), I love the classic elements that keep it grounded like the delicate black piping on the sleeves of my white top or the double breasted buttons on the skirt.
I’m so excited to be wearing bell sleeves and mini skirts this season, especially as temperatures drop and we start getting more creative with layers. With our impending move back to New York, this will be my first real winter in over a year, and I’m excited to get some use out of my cold-weather wardrobe that’s been neglected here in California. Cozy looks featuring over-the-knee boots, thick tights and chunky knits paired with cute mini skirts like the ones below have me ready and raring for fall and winter. And as far as mini skirts go, this one and this one are currently in my shopping cart. Can. Not. Resist.
The distinctive bell sleeves on this off-the-shoulder top made it one of my very favorite pieces from fashion week and I’m swooning over all of the bell-sleeved options out there right now. I mean, take a flip through my favorite bell-sleeved dresses, tops and sweaters below and tell me you’re not on board. This dress? Forget about it.
