As promised, I have a whole slew of New York Fashion Week looks that will be coming your way, starting with this outfit which might just be my favorite of the lot. Fashion week is always a fun opportunity to push the envelope a little and wear things that you don’t get the chance to wear everyday. Picking up on several trends of the moment, I had a lot of fun pairing these ivory high-waisted split-leg trousers with this favorite beaded bomber jacket, a cropped tank and metallic sneakers. The trend factor was tempered by the classic black and white palette, and I even threw in a little print-mixing by adding the black and white striped clutch. I wore this on day two of NYFW, which was one of the most brutally hot and humid, so the cropped tank and light, airy wideleg trousers were mission-critical in making sure I didn’t make like a Yeezy model and drop.
