As you know, I’m a huge fan of a monochromatic blush look.  Similar to my all-blush look from this post a few months ago, today’s outfit is comprised of four pieces that I purchased separately, but somewhere in the depths of my exceptionally disorganized closet, they met and fell into monochromatic love.  See mom?  If my closet was organized, this blush blazer and blush midi dress might never have met!  But even though the blazer, dress, belt and pumps aren’t from the same brand or store, the beautiful thing about all-blush and/or nude outfits is that you really don’t have to worry about the hues matching perfectly for the ensemble to work.

If you’re looking for the perfect, super comfy summer midi dress, look no further.  The soft jersey of this blush frock makes it unbelievably comfortable, and as easily layered under a blazer as it is worn solo on weekends or after office hours.  My only note on the dress is that after wearing it to a luncheon recently (as pictured today, with the blazer, etc.), I think I’ll probably have a tailor shorten the straps a tad before wearing it to the office.  I’m wearing a size small in this dress, and after wearing it for a bit, the straps seemed to fall a bit long to me, resulting in a neckline that’s on the low side for the workplace.  The dress is so reasonably priced and so fantastic otherwise (umm, hello POCKETS), I think it’s absolutely worth $5-10 at the tailor to make the simple adjustment, or quite frankly, I’ll probably just shorten them at home! #newDIYproject
